Financial Advisers, what are they and do I need one?
Financial Advisers, are qualified specialists in the field of insurance and are also refered to as Insurance Brokers. There are many different types of advisers that specialise in
a different areas of insurance such as mortgages or pensions.
However, you should be aware of the two types of financial adviser:
- Financial advisers employed by insurance companies to provide support and help you decide which policy you wish to take out.
- Independent financial adviser who operate independently and do not have ties to any particular insurance company. They are either paid by the insurance company in commission or charge a fee to the policy holder.
